England vs Sporting Kansas City Friendly
Kane started in the entire game against Croatia but did not feature in the behind-closed-doors friendly against Sporting Kansas City, which was for the players who required some playing time.
Scores for Ivan Toney and Morgan Rogers contributed towards England’s 5-1 victory over the MLS side in a friendly match on Thursday, according to BBC Sport.
The game, which was played in England’s Swope Soccer Village training camp, saw participation by players who had not been utilized in Wednesday’s clash against Croatia and those who did not get enough time on the field in Dallas.
Three goals from Toney and other contributions from Rogers and Ollie Watkins of Aston Villa saw England register a comfortable victory.
Those who participated in the training match included Burn, Jordan Henderson, Eberechi Eze, Marc Guehi, Kobbie Mainoo, Djed Spence, and Jarell Quansah among others.
Each half of the match lasted for almost 25 minutes.
On Tuesday, BBC Sport reported that the Football Association organized the match in order to provide some minutes for some players.
After getting back to their base in England from Dallas around 10:30 pm local time on Wednesday, England players got most of the day off on Thursday.
The players were allowed to visit their families and friends immediately after the Group L clash against Croatia, while family members were also permitted in the camp on Thursday to spend some time with them before preparations for Tuesday’s game against Ghana in Boston (21:00 BST).
