Kylian Mbappe will miss the rest of the international window after suffering a knee injury in scoring the only goal of Zinedine Zidane’s first game in charge.
Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe scored a record 67th goal for France from Michael Olise’s pass – to aid them to a 1-0 Nations League victory in Turkey.
But he was limping straight away and had to be replaced five minutes later.

“We’re not going to take any risks. He has swelling in the knee. It’s not encouraging.”
The team also confirmed their captain’s injury on X: “Following his winning strike, Kylian Mbappé injured his knee. He is suffering from a tendon injury and is out for the rest of the gathering. Get well soon Kylian”

Turkey goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir was sent off late on for handling outside the box.
Zidane, a World Cup winner as a player with France, took over from Didier Deschamps after the World Cup this summer.
This is his first time in charge of a senior team other than Real, who he took to two Champions Leagues and two La Liga titles in two spells between 2016 and 2018, and 2019 to 2021.
