Tunisia suffered the 2nd heaviest defeat at the World Cup thus far after Curacao’s 7-1 loss to Germany.

Sweden 5 – 1 Tunisia

Yasin Ayari, whose father hails from Tunisia, provided a stunning breakthrough at Monterrey Stadium with a terrific shot from just outside the penalty area. Isak scored the second of the evening, courtesy of a wonderful spin and pass from Gyokeres, while Sabri Lamouchi’s players managed to get into the match with a deft header by Omar Rekik from Mejbri’s magnificent cross.

It was an all-Sweden affair in the second period as Isak stole the ball off Ellyes Skhiri and Gyokeres finished off the loose ball, followed quickly by a wonderful goal from substitute Mattias Svanberg, completing the victory.

Lamouchi enters the books of coaches fired during the World Cup.
