The Green Bay Packers took another big step on Friday as tight end Tucker Kraft comes back from a ruptured ACL, moving him off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
The move comes around eight-and-a-half months after Kraft had surgery to repair the ruptured ACL in his right knee, an injury that ended his 2025 season.

His comeback is a major boost for the Packers as they head into the 2026 campaign.
But Kraft is not being hurried back into full contact. The 25-year-old will initially participate in individual drills and walk-through sessions instead of team practices, per ESPN
The rationale for the cautious approach is to allow Kraft to continue building strength and trust in his knee before returning to full football action.
Kraft was in the middle of another strong season before he got injured. He has 32 catches for 489 yards and six touchdowns in eight games.
Kraft’s slow recovery has the Packers optimistic he might be ready for the regular season, although he will be examined to see if he’s fit for full-contact practices and preseason games.
