Chelsea have completed the signing of Argentine youngster, Valentin Barco for an undisclosed fee from their sister club, Strasbourg
Barco becomes the sixth player to join Les Bleus this summer as Chelsea are looking to increase their squad strength ahead of the 2026/2027 season

The young talent is set to join Chelsea on their preseason tour immediately as Xabi Alonso is ready to put all players to test before the season kicks off
This is going to be Barco’s second stint in the Premier League. He played 7 games for Brighton in the 2023/2024 season before moving to Sevilla on loan the following season
Barco featured for Strasbourg 27 times in Ligue 1 in the previous season, scoring 2 goals and registering 4 assists.
He also made an appearance from the bench for Argentina in the just concluded FIFA World Cup in the semifinal game against England
According to BBC, Barco beomes the second player to join Chelsea from Strasbourg this summer.
The signing is also the 13th deal completed between both clubs since the start of last season
