The San Francisco 49ers made a few roster adjustments on Wednesday, formally signing wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge and defensive lineman Ogbo Okoronkwo to one-year deals

The team also waived defensive linemen Kevin Givens and Cameron Sample, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter
Hodge joins the 49ers after four seasons with the Atlanta Falcons where he established himself as a solid special teams player and was named to the Pro Bowl as a special teamer in 2024.
He has 67 catches for 1,026 yards and two scores in a nine-year career that has also featured the Rams, Browns and Lions.
He’s coming at a good time for San Francisco, whose receiver room has been getting beat up early in training camp, with Ricky Pearsall out for the season and Mike Evans dealing with a quad injury.
Meanwhile, Okoronkwo reunites with defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, who was his position coach during the Rams’ Super Bowl-winning 2021 season.
Since then, the 31-year-old pass rusher has bounced between Houston, Cleveland and Philadelphia, with 12.5 sacks over that span.
He worked out with the 49ers earlier this week before the contract was reached.
