Raphinha netted a second hat-trick in back-to-back games for Barcelona who comfortably won against Sevilla to go top of La Liga with a healthy cushion.
The prolific forward showcased his finishing skills in fine style during the game played at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium to notch up 14 goals this season in all competitions.
He had previously hit a hat-trick in the 7-2 triumph over Racing Santander last Wednesday.
The win lifted Barcelona’s points tally to 21 points which is six points above Real Madrid, who occupy second spot, and Real Betis, who are in third place, but they have played one game extra.
Real will play against Atletico Madrid in the city derby this Sunday (15:15 BST) while Real Betis will visit Deportivo La Coruna (17:30).
The visitors took the lead in the 19th minute when Felix Correia crossed into the box and Youssouf Fofana headed the ball into the net.
Raphinha scored for Barca in reply just three minutes later after checking in on himself and firing past Odysseas Vlachodimos of Sevilla.
Teenager Lamine Yamal played a crucial role in helping Raphinha score his second goal in the 52nd minute after dribbling away from goal before delivering a cross that helped the Brazilian netter put it in the back of the net.
The same teenaged player assisted Raphinha once again in the 69th minute after passing him a wonderful pass that the latter slotted in over Vlachodimos.
Barca recorded their seventh consecutive league win and their eighth in all competitions after this match, per BBC Sport.
