It is reported that the decision of the player is expected within a few hours, rather than days, per BBC Sport.
In case Vinicius decides not to sign a contract with Real, Arsenal are ready to escalate their interest towards the Brazilian.
The contract between Vinicius and Real Madrid was extended three years ago and lasts until 2027 and the negotiations over a new deal have been ongoing for 18 months.
The Brazilian player returned to Real Madrid on Monday for the first time since his World Cup adventure with the national team for his first pre-season training session.
Vinicius, who has played 375 matches for Real Madrid and scored 128 goals, wants to be considered as the club’s best player in terms of pay.
Traditionally, the salary structure is rather strict in Real Madrid, as it has always been under president Florentino Perez.
Vinicius himself has once called Real Madrid “the club of my dreams” and claimed that he hopes to stay at the Spanish giant “for many years”.
Arsenal have identified Vinicius as their top left-winger option.
