Jamal Murray erupted for a season-high 53 points, carrying the Nuggets offensively in a high-scoring 142-135 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. He was just two points shy of his career high, attacking relentlessly and hitting big shots when Denver needed them most.
After the game, Murray reflected on his chemistry with Jokic: “Sometimes he’s having a rough day and I’ll pick up the slack, and then there’s days when I’m not doing anything and he takes over. There’s not tug-of-war with the ball; there’s no animosity of who’s shooting it.”

Jokic’s Triple-Double Magic
Nikola Jokic matched Murray’s brilliance with his 30th triple-double of the season, finishing with 23 points, 21 rebounds, and 19 assists. His all-around dominance made NBA history, as Denver became the first team ever to have one player score 50 points and another record at least 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists in the same game.
Coach David Adelman praised the duo: “Fifty-three from your point guard and 23, 21, 19 from your center. Just outrageous numbers from the best tandem in the NBA.”
A Bond Forged in History
Jokic and Murray’s partnership dates back to 2016, and together they’ve won 400 games, the most of any active NBA duo. Their journey includes the franchise’s first championship in 2023, and their bond continues to grow.
