Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar will be making his comeback in this week’s race in Azerbaijan after sitting out the last three races due to a wrist injury.
The 21-year-old Frenchman has been substituted by Liam Lawson, who comes from New Zealand and races in the Netherlands, Monza and Madrid after hurting his wrist while he was boxing.

The team explained through a press statement that Hadjar has recovered fully and will race in Baku, between 24-26 September, replacing Lawson in the Grand Prix.
“The team would like to sincerely thank Liam for his professionalism, dedication and hard work over the past three races,” Red Bull added.
“Stepping in under challenging circumstances, he delivered some impressive performances and made a valuable contribution to the team.”
Lawson who is 24 years old ended up finishing 7th in Zandvoort and 6th in Madrid, but scored no points after ending up 14th in Monza.
Lawson, who has been substituted by Hadjar, will go back to the junior team Racing Bulls owned by Red Bull.
Hadjar, who will be racing together with four times World Champion Max Verstappen, is currently standing 8th on the drivers’ standings with a total of 71 points this season.
