The New York Jets signed former Marist University tight end Connor Hulstein, rewarding the FCS standout for a stellar offseason that started with a rookie minicamp invite.
The signing is another huge milestone in Hulstein’s football journey as he gets an opportunity to fight for a spot on an NFL roster.

Hulstein first drew the Jets’ notice during a record-setting graduating season at Marist in 2025. The 6-foot-6 tight end arrived to Marist after four years at Princeton and rapidly became one of the finest pass receiving tight ends in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
According to The Jet Press via X, He concluded the 2025 campaign with 42 receptions for 599 yards and seven touchdowns, topping all FCS tight ends in receiving yards, while ranking among the national leaders in touchdown catches.
His stellar production won him Associated Press Second-Team All-America honors and accolades from several national sites.
Hulstein committed to attending the Jets’ rookie minicamp shortly after the 2026 NFL Draft.
His performance this offseason obviously convinced the management to sign him as they continue to search for talent before the regular season.
