Lamar Jackson has opened up as the Baltimore Ravens take a trip to Rio for a clash against the Dallas Cowboys in the first-ever NFL clash in Brazil.
The mouthwatering fixture is slated for the famous 78,838-capacity Maracana Stadium on Sunday, September 27.
It will be a tough travel period for the Cowboys, who begin their trip on Thursday night right after their training at The Star in Frisco, as they hope to settle well in their temporary home in Brazil.
The flight, which is approximately 10 hours from from /Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Rio de Janeiro–Galeao International Airport (GIG), will land on Friday morning.
Both sides head into the Week 3 fixture with 1-1 records, but historically, Ravens have the clear edge. From the eight matches between these two sides, Ravens boast a 7-1 series record as the Cowboys only won in 2016 while Tony Romo was in charge, per WBAL TV.
Ravens won the most recent outings in 2020 and 2024, as Dallas will endeavor to prevent Lamar Jackson from hurting them.
Heading into Sunday’s game, the Cowboys, who are designated as the home team will have a sl slight 3.5-point underdogs.
The over/under is set at 52.5 total points, so the oddsmakers are anticipating a shootout.

Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson has admitted it would be a tough encounter in South America, but believes that the Ravens have all it takes to come out victorious. He said:
“Yes, but this is America. That is Brazil. So we will see, we will see. But I have seen (the Cowboys) pass rushers – they are unbelievable. They get after the quarterback a lot and disrupt the pass game a lot. But, it is football at the end of the day, you know? We are just going to have to go out there and do what we (are) supposed to do.”

When Ravens defeated Indianapolis Colts
Yankee Scores earlier reported that the Ravens defense caused two turnovers, and the kicking game was handled flawlessly by Tyler Loop, who successfully converted both his field goal attempts, including one from 57 yards out.
The Ravens defense came up big after giving up a touchdown on their first drive and shut down the Colts offense for most of the game.
