Dundon Leads New Ownership
Following unanimous approval from the NBA Board of Governors, the Rip City Rising ownership group led by Tom Dundon has completed its acquisition of the Portland Trail Blazers, Rip City Remix, and Rip City Management. Dundon will serve as Governor, joined by Marc Zahr, Stan Middleman, Andrew Cherng, and Sheel Tyle as Alternate Governors.

A Diverse Group of Investors
The multi-family ownership group includes the Dundon, Zahr, Middleman, Cherng, and Tyle families, alongside Richard Chaifetz, Marc Grandisson, Nayel Nassar and Jennifer Gates, Taavet Hinrikus, and Dan Zilberman. Together, they bring extensive business expertise and a shared passion for basketball. Their stated mission is to build a perennial contender, elevate the fan experience, and ensure long-term success for the franchise.
