The 2026 WNBA All-Star Weekend was just what it was supposed to be, a succession of great performances and accomplishments as the league celebrated its 30th season in Chicago

The festivities kicked off on Friday at Wintrust Arena with Team Washington winning the inaugural Kia WNBA Shooting Stars competition.
Elena Delle Donne, Shakira Austin and high school star Jezelle “GG” Banks combined for 31 points in defeating Team Seattle in the finale.
The night also belonged to Dallas Wings youngster Azzi Fudd, who made history as the first rookie to win the WNBA 3-Point Contest.
The No. 1 overall pick had 24 points in the first round before erupting for 30 in the finale to upset Portland Fire’s Bridget Carleton, who had 19 points.
Fudd’s winning total equals the second-highest final-round score in the competition’s history, trailing only Sabrina Ionescu’s record of 37.
The weekend wrapped up on Saturday at the United Center, where Team Spoon beat Team Coop 129-122 in a high-scoring All-Star Game that attracted a record crowd of 19,783.
New York Liberty standout Jonquel Jones had the performance of the night with 22 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists to earn All-Star Game MVP honors.
Her win capped an impressive haul of key MVP titles, including regular season MVP, Finals MVP and Commissioner’s Cup MVP.
Kelsey Mitchell led Team Coop with 28 points. Caitlin Clark returned to the All-Star Game with 17 points and five assists. Rookie Dominique Malonga also thrilled the Chicago fans with a dunk and finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
