According to Formula 1, Former Alpine Executive Director Marcin Budkowksi joins Cadillac as team principal halfway through their debut F1 season
Budkowski formerly worked for the FIA before joining Apline in 2018 when the team competed as Renault until his departure in January 2022
“Marcin’s appointment marks another important step in the continued evolution of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team,” said Dan Towriss, CEO of the Cadillac team.
“As we enter this new era for the Cadillac Formula 1 Team, Marcin brings exceptional F1 experience, technical expertise and strategic leadership that will strengthen our organisation and help us develop the winning mindset, tools and processes required for long-term success.
Marcin takes over the team from Graeme Lowdon who acted as Team Principal
Cadillac currently doesn’t have any point in 2026 after 11 races and this new appointment would be hoping to change that through their drivers, Sergio Perez and Valterri Bottas
