Jürgen Klopp won his first game as manager of Germany after three attempts, defeating Serbia in the Nations League.
Klopp had led his team to draw with the Netherlands and lost to Greece but his new-look team managed to win against Serbia in Munich.
Klopp had selected a 44-man squad for the four matches where most of the players would change since the last game.

It was Tom Bischof who got a goal for Germany as he fired past Serbia following a deflection off Florian Wirtz that struck the crossbar.
The £116 million Liverpool forward has been unable to redeem himself from his poor performance during his second season, where even the club’s legendary Jamie Carragher has asked if Wirtz will ever achieve his full potential on Skysports.
It is clear that Wirtz still has some tricks up his sleeves after his goal where he shirked away from his marker in the box and scored an elegant goal.
The German had been out of touch in front of the goal since May 31 where he played in a friendly match against Finland. Wirtz’s last goal for Liverpool was in a game against Crystal Palace in April.
The ex-Liverpool manager has had a poor start to his coaching career outside of Liverpool since he left Anfield and did not become the first Germany coach to remain unbeaten in their first three games.
Mika Baur of Celtic became the 1,000th player to win a cap for the men’s national team of Germany.
