Michael Olise rescued a win for France against Belgium to make it two wins in two games for new manager Zinedine Zidane in the Uefa Nations League.
Zidane made nine changes after his side’s victory over Turkey on Friday, and once again had to rely on his substitutes to break down the stubborn defense of Belgium in Brussels.

Bayern Munich winger Olise received the ball on his shoulder in the opposition half and set about on an outstanding run, cutting through and beating a defender and slotting into the bottom corner in the 88th minute.

Both teams created some good scoring chances in the game but in the absence of striker Kylian Mbappe, who did not play in this game after picking up a knee injury in the match against Turkey, the French side failed to make use of their chances.
Desire Doue was the best player for France and was unfortunate not to score with any of his five attempts, with one hitting the crossbar, while another debutant Lucas da Cunha too struck the woodwork.
However, Belgian wingers Mika Godts and Dodi Lukebakio gave the defense of France a tough time but did not find an opportunity to exploit the inexperienced French defense.
France are leading in Group A1 and would be facing Italy on Friday, while Belgium trade tackles with Turkey.
