An agreement has been reached between West Ham and Al Hilal regarding the transfer of Crysencio Summerville, Yankee Scores reports.
According to Sky Sports, the deal totals at a price package of £60 million. £55m assured + £5m in bonus.
Roma had been looking to make an arrangement with West Ham regarding Summerville, the Netherlands international.
According to reports, an initial £39m (£46m) offer for the player from the Serie A side was rejected on Monday.
The news about Al Hilal’s late bid for Summerville emerged via Sky in Italy’s Gianluca Di Marzio on Tuesday afternoon.
This came shortly after the offer made by Al Hilal for Summerville, which was nearly double that of Roma’s initial bid of £39m.
The £44m offer made by the Saudi Arabian club was promptly accepted by West Ham.
Roma don’t intend to up their offer for Summerville to match that of Al Hilal.
Roma are already searching for other targets in this regard, including Antonio Nusa and Andreas Schjelderup, the stars of Norway at the World Cup.
Summerville would become the third-largest sale of all time at West Ham behind Declan Rice and Mateus Fernandes.
With the completion of the sale, Summerville will be the third-highest sale for West Ham, behind Declan Rice and Mateus Fernandes’ deals.
