Tottenham Hotspur have contacted Manchester City over a potential transfer of Savinho and Omar Marmoush.
According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur also have Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo on their radar.
The ongoing negotiations between City and Spurs have not yet been fruitful, but Savinho is ready for a new challenge at the North London side. Manchester City have plans in place for replacing players who leave the club with less than two weeks left in the window.
How PSG Holds the Key to Gakpo
Also, Tottenham Hotspur have to wait until Liverpool sign Bradley Barcola, along with his Paris Saint Germain teammate Ibrahim Mbaye, before trying to sign Gakpo in addition to Savinho.
If they are unable to land Gakpo, there are rumors stating that Spurs would then consider Pedro Neto from Chelsea.
There have been reports suggesting that Gakpo might play as a No 9 under Roberto De Zerbi, but it has been noted that even if he signs for Spurs, he won’t be the priority choice in that position.
Spurs are targeting a prolific scorer who can link effectively with other forwards.
It appears Spurs mat make as many as nine first team signings in the summer transfer window, despite spending over £200 million.
