The Atlanta Hawks are flying high once again, but their latest victory in Dallas was about more than just the scoreline, Yankee Scores reports.

Hawks Dominate in Dallas

CJ McCollum led the way with 24 points, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 22, as the Hawks powered past the Mavericks 135-120. Dyson Daniels chipped in 19 points on efficient shooting, and Jalen Johnson contributed a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Atlanta’s current run of 11 straight wins is their longest since the franchise-record 19-game streak in 2014-15. This streak now ranks as the fourth-longest in club history.

Mavericks Struggle Continues

Daniel Gafford came off the bench to score 24 for Dallas, with P.J. Washington adding 23 and Cooper Flagg 17. However, the Mavericks’ woes deepened as they slumped to their 11th loss in 13 games, leaving them at 23-47 and staring at the draft lottery.

Turnovers proved costly—Dallas gave the ball away 18 times, seven more than Atlanta.

Historic Moment for Kuminga

Jonathan Kuminga produced a highlight-reel moment, sinking a 75-foot basket—the longest ever by a Hawk in the play-by-play era. Elias Sports confirmed it was the sixth-longest shot made in the league since 1997-98, surpassing Jason Terry’s 63-footer in 2000.

What’s Next?

The Hawks, now 38-31 and firmly in the play-in race, travel to Houston on Friday night. The Mavericks will try to regroup when they host the Clippers on Saturday.

With momentum on their side, Atlanta’s streak is not just about wins—it’s about belief. As McCollum put it after the game: “We’re locked in, and every night we’re proving what this team can do.”
