The Atlanta Hawks had to dig deep late, but Quin Snyder’s squad found a way to celebrate a special milestone in front of their home crowd… Yankee Scores reports.

Alexander-Walker Sparks the Offense

Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the charge with 27 points, and the Hawks knocked down eight of 12 three-pointers in the fourth quarter to secure a 123-113 win over the Sacramento Kings. The victory marked Snyder’s 500th career win, a milestone that underscored his steady leadership.

Jalen Johnson added 26 points and 10 assists, recording his 44th double-double of the season. Jock Landale chipped in with 19 points and 13 rebounds, his first double-double since joining Atlanta in February. The Hawks have now won 15 of their last 17 games, showing impressive consistency down the stretch.

Kings Falter on the Road

Sacramento, struggling through a tough road trip, fell to 19-56 after dropping their third straight game away from home. DeMar DeRozan paced the Kings with 22 points, while Maxime Raynaud contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite tying the game at 97 with just under eight minutes left, the Kings couldn’t withstand Atlanta’s late barrage from beyond the arc. Injuries have taken a toll, with Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine, Drew Eubanks, and others sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Hawks Seize Control

After trailing by as many as seven in the first half, Atlanta closed the second quarter on a 26-8 run to take a 66-54 lead into halftime. The Hawks maintained control through the third quarter, and when Sacramento threatened late, Alexander-Walker and Johnson answered with clutch shooting.

Even without Dyson Daniels, Onyeka Okongwu, and Jonathan Kuminga, Atlanta’s depth proved decisive. Landale and Mouhamed Gueye stepped into starting roles and delivered solid minutes.

What’s Next

The Kings continue their road trip with a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night. With injuries piling up, they’ll need fresh energy to avoid a sweep.

The Hawks, meanwhile, return home to face the Boston Celtics on Monday. Riding a hot streak and celebrating Snyder’s milestone, Atlanta will look to keep its momentum alive against one of the East’s toughest contenders.
