Bruno Fernandes has emerged the Premier League Player of the Season.
An Elite Individual Crown
The Portuguese midfielder beat the likes of David Raya, Gabriel, Declan Rice (Arsenal), Erling Haaland, and Antoine Semenyo (Manchester City), Igor Thiago (Brentford), and Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest) for the award.

Fernandes has also been awarded the FWA Footballer of the Year accolade previously.
Youngster Nico O’Reilly was presented with the award for being City’s Young Player of the Season. He has contributed significantly through his goal-scoring abilities and become an essential member of the squad and is now part of the English squad for the upcoming World Cup tournament.
Fernandes’ Season in Numbers
Fernandes has tied Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne’s record of 20 assists in a Premier League campaign. He has also scored eight goals.
He will break the assists record in a single season if he notches another during the Red Devils’ final game of the season against Brighton on Sunday.

Despite not winning any trophies this season, the fans are celebrating the achievement of securing a Champions League place after a shaky start.
Joining the Greats
This is the first time that Fernandes, 31, would win the award, and he is the first United player since Nemanja Vidić, in 2010-11, to win it.
Fernandes has joined the league of United players that have won the award in the past – Peter Schmeichel, Dwight Yorke, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.
