Per NBC Sports, the guaranteed amount is the most ever paid to an offensive lineman, and the entire contract is the biggest ever for a right tackle
Wright was the 10th overall pick out of Tennessee in 2023 and has started 49 consecutive games at right tackle since coming to Chicago.

He was heading into the final season of his rookie deal, and the Bears had already exercised his fifth-year option for 2027 at almost $19M.
With Wright locked up, the Bears turn their attention to eventual contract extensions for quarterback Caleb Williams and receiver Rome Odunze
