The Ravens put the veteran offensive tackle Hakeem Adeniji on the reserve/retired list, barely more than a week after signing him.

After a tryout, Adeniji signed with Baltimore July 25 to add depth behind an offensive line that has undergone substantial changes this offseason.
Adeniji, a sixth-round pick of the Cincinnati Bengals out of Kansas in 2020, played three seasons in Cincinnati, making 14 starts, including nine at right guard during the Bengals AFC Championship run in 2021, according to Baltimore Ravens
He then took over a starting role at right tackle in 2022 after La’el Collins went down with an injury and stayed in the lineup throughout Cincinnati’s playoff run that season.
Adeniji signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2024, but was hurt during the preseason with a knee injury that put him on injured reserve for the whole season. He then played for the Minnesota Vikings in 2023.
His likely departure leaves Baltimore in the market for another veteran option, with players like Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn and Carson Vinson now among those battling for depth slots as the Ravens continue to build out their squad ahead of the 2026 season.
