Ahead of his highly anticipated Sunday farewell against Brentford, Mohamed Salah has dropped a major pre-match message that has everyone talking, Yankee Scores reports.
As Mohamed Salah prepares to bid his farewell tomorrow at Anfield, the Egyptian striker has restated his love and loyalty to the Reds.
Final Liverpool Appearance
Though it is not certain if the winger will play against Brentford following his call for a return to “heavy metal football”. The call is seen in many quarters as an attack on Arne Slot, whom he fell out with in December.
Former Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney believes Slot should leave him out of the Liverpool squad that will face Brentford. Though, Liverpool fans would love to see Salah once more on the pitch and chant his name.
Legacy in Numbers and Trophies
Salah joined the Reds on 22 June 2017 from A.S Roma. He has since established himself as one of the greatest players to have donned the Liverpool jersey. His 257 goals in 438 appearances stands as the 3rd highest goalscorer for the Reds, behind Ian Rush and Roger Hunt.
Salah has appreciated the club and fans for a memorable nine years laden with 9 years, including a Champions League and two Premier League titles.

An Unbreakable Bond
“The club means everything. The people mean everything, the city means everything. I will always love this club. I will always support it,” he told the Liverpool produced film Salah: Farewell to the King.
“It means to me everything. You live in the club, you feel the love and appreciation from the fans.
“This is the most important thing, people appreciate what you have done and appreciate everything you’ve done for them and for yourself.
“It feels special. I’m blessed. Not too many people had the opportunity to play here nine years and perform how I performed or just enjoy or go through the process that I’ve been through.
“So, it’s a blessing and something I don’t take for granted.”
