Kansas City Chiefs started their NFL season with a dominant 31-10 win over the Denver Broncos.
The MVP Patrick Mahomes made his return after getting injured in his knee in December and helped his team to notch up a statement victory against the Denver Broncos as he scored one touchdown by running and two by throwing.

The newly acquired player, Kenneth Walker, who was awarded the title of MVP for Seattle Seahawks in the previous season’s Super Bowl, performed best by rushing for a career-high 173 yards and scoring twice in his first match for Kansas City Chiefs.
“I’ve been saying it all off-season that K9 is going to make a difference,” said Mahomes.
“That offensive line and K9, they took over the game. It went really well.”
In the first quarter, the Broncos equalized the game, although Bo Nix was sacked four times and intercepted once by the Chiefs, per BBC Sport.
Travis Kelce, three-time Super Bowl winner, is now second in the list of the most receiving yards by a tight end in the history of the NFL after recording a 59-yard pass for the Chiefs.
Only one former Chiefs player, Tony Gonzalez (15,127), has recorded more receiving yards than Kelce (13,073).
Taylor Swift, Kelce’s wife, and actor Tom Cruise witnessed the match at the stadium.
The Broncos took the AFC West crown last year, ending nine consecutive titles by the Chiefs in the division.
