Besiktas have agreed a fee with Arsenal for the signing of Belgium forward Leandro Trossard, Yankee Scores reports.
The 31-year-old has been given the go-ahead to fly to Istanbul for a medical, per BBC Sport.
Trossard, who is under contract with the Gunners until 2027, moved to the club from Brighton in January 2023 for £21m plus add-ons.
The Turkish Super Lig side said in a statement: “Negotiations have begun with professional football player Leandro Trossard and his club Arsenal about his permanent transfer.
He has scored 36 goals and provided 34 assists in 174 appearances for Arsenal, helping Mikel Arteta’s side to win last season’s Premier League title.
He was a regular for Arteta last season, starting in the Champions League final defeat at the hands of Paris St-Germain and 21 times in the league.
Trossard played all six of Belgium’s games in this summer’s World Cup, in which they reached the quarter-finals, and scored twice.
