The Boston Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks 133–101 on Friday night.

Jaylen Brown scored 26 points and Jayson Tatum added 23. The Celtics took advantage of another fast start.

Tatum was one assist away from his second straight triple-double, even though he didn’t play in the fourth quarter of a game the Celtics never lost. On Friday, he had 11 rebounds and nine assists. On Wednesday, he had 25 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists in a 147-129 win over the Miami Heat.

Deep Bench and Impressive Shooting Percentages

The Celtics shot 56.2% overall and 17 of 37 from 3-point range. Neemias Queta scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Derrick White had 17 points, Payton Pritchard had 16, and Sam Hauser had 13.

Milwaukee’s top scorer was Taurean Prince, who had 18 points. Pete Nance scored 14 points and got a career-high 10 rebounds.

Bucks Sidelined by Injuries and Internal Friction

Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo missed his 10th straight game because the Bucks said he had a bone bruise and hyperextension in his left knee. Before the game, he told The Athletic and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that he was healthy and wanted to play.

Kevin Porter Jr. (right knee), Bobby Portis (left wrist sprain), Ryan Rollins (right hip strain), and Gary Trent Jr. (left hip pointer) were also out for the Bucks. Nikola Vucevic didn’t play for Boston because he broke his right ring finger on March 6.
