Atlanta Hawks Extend Winning Streak

The Atlanta Hawks powered past the Milwaukee Bucks with a decisive 131-113 victory, securing their fifth straight win and climbing above .500 (32-31) for the first time since December. Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the way with 23 points, helping Atlanta erase an early 16-point deficit.

Balanced Hawks Attack

The Atlanta Hawks showcased depth and balance across their roster, with multiple players stepping up to deliver strong performances against Milwaukee.

Onyeka Okongwu scored 21 points, while Jalen Johnson added 20 points and nine assists to fuel Atlanta’s offensive rhythm throughout the game.

CJ McCollum contributed 18 points, and Dyson Daniels posted 14 points along with 10 rebounds, giving the Hawks valuable production on both ends of the floor.

Despite missing Jonathan Kuminga due to knee inflammation, Atlanta dominated the second half, outscoring Milwaukee 65-42 to secure the win convincingly.

Bucks’ Struggles Continue

The Milwaukee Bucks (26-35) dropped their fourth straight game, falling five games behind Atlanta and Charlotte in the Eastern Conference standings.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 24 points in his second game back from a calf strain but showed frustration, earning a technical foul late in the fourth quarter.

Ryan Rollins added 13 points and 12 assists, while Kyle Kuzma chipped in 16 points after being benched during Milwaukee’s previous loss.

Milwaukee’s skid has proven costly, with their last four defeats coming by a combined 97 points, highlighting their ongoing struggles on both ends of the court.

Second-Half Surge Seals Win

The Bucks led 71-66 at halftime, shooting over 60% in the first half. But they went ice cold in the third quarter, scoring just two points in the first six minutes. Atlanta capitalized, opening the half with a 10-0 run and never looking back.

What’s Next?

The Atlanta Hawks host the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, while the Milwaukee Bucks face the Utah Jazz on Saturday.
