The New York Knicks can end the Eastern Conference Finals with yet another sweep with a win on Monday night, their second series sweep in this year’s playoffs, Yankee Scores reports.

The Knicks moved an inch closer to their first NBA Finals appearance since 1999 with a 121-108 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night. Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges combined for 52 points in a stellar performance.

The New York Knicks is now the seventh team in NBA history to go 10 straight games without a loss in the postseason. The Boston Celtics were the last team to have a 10-game tun in their 2024 championship run. For Los Angeles lakers, San Antonio and Cleveland, they have all done it twice.

“We’ve just have to keep our mind on the task at hand. The game is over and we found a way to win. We have to execute at a high level in Game 4,” said Karl Anthony-Towns, who finished the game with 13 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

The Knicks made 55.8% of their shots from the field, 11 3-pointers, and 24 of 27 from the free throw line.

The Cavaliers were 29% from the arc, 12 of 41 and 12 of 19 from the free throw line. Evan Mobley, Donovan Mitchell and James Harden combined for 66 points, but it was not enough, despite the home court advantage.

“I think their physicality and energy, we couldn’t get to that level to combat it,” Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson said. “They’re on a hell of a run. We haven’t been able to stop the momentum. We had one chance in that first game I thought to stop it, but they haven’t been able to halt their momentum.”

he Knicks led 91-82 by the end of the third quarter and put the game out of reach in the fourth with Landry Shamet’s three point basket with 99-seconds left on the clock to make it 105-94.
