While coach Rick Carlisle was at his daughter’s spring formal event, the Pacers from Indiana took their revenge on everyone else, demonstrating their prowess in the process, Yankee Scores reports.

Obi Toppin netted 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds, as seven Pacers scored in double digits, leading Indiana to a 123-94 victory over the Brooklyn Nets and ending a three-game losing run Thursday night.

Under the interim leadership of Lloyd Pierce, the team which had seemingly forgotten how to win finally came out of a three-game losing streak by beating the Brooklyn Nets 123-94.

Indiana went to 19-61 with its fifth win in their last 27 games. Rick Carlisle did not attend the game as he was away for his daughter’s spring formal dance. Lloyd Pierce coached the team in place of Carlisle.

Liddell netted 26 points and snared ten rebounds. Ben Saraf contributed 19 points and Tyson Etienne 14. Brooklyn shot just 37-for-96 (37%) from the field and saw their two-game winning streak come to an end.

Indiana scored a quick 31-14 lead in the first quarter. They were 63-37 up at half-time and took an impressive 98-72 (26-point) lead to the fourth quarter.
