The new league year brought major trades, brilliant signings and one of the craziest quarterback shakeups in recent memory. Here’s a look at five moves that truly stand out so far, Yankee scores reports…..
Los Angeles Rams Trade for CB Trent McDuffie
Immediately the Maxx Crosby deal fell apart for Baltimore, this was the next thing. The Rams had a clear gap at the cornerback role that showed up at the important moment, especially in clutch moments and during playoffs.
Sean McVay was not ging to let this issue linger. Giving McDuffie, a two time All Pro a four year $124 million deal while also acquiring his former Chiefs teammate Jaylen Watson completely changes things for LA Rams.

Minnesota Vikings Sign Kyler Murray for League Minimum
Steal of the decade. The Cardinals currently still owe $36.8million of Murray’s salary, making it look like Minnesota got the former No 1 pick for the cost of a practice squad player.
Kevin O’Connell already turned Sam Darnold into a Super Bowl winning quarterback. Now he has a dual threat, two time Pro Bowl player to develop. This deal automatically makes the Vikings a threat going into the new season. No deal this offseason offers more potential.
Baltimore Ravens Sign Trey Hendrickson
After the Crosby situation became a major embarrassment for the Ravens front office, Eric DeCosta needed a win quickly. Hendrickson’s four year $112 million contract is worth it if he brings even a fraction of the disruption he caused in Cincinnati where he recorded at least 14 sacks in three of his five seasons. He played only seven games last year due to surgery but is expected to be fully healthy by September.

Atlanta Falcons sign Tua Tagovaiola for $1.2 Million
Miami Dolphins let go of Tua and took on a record of $99 million in dead money as a result. The Falcons watched this happen and quietly signed him for almost nothing. Even if Tagovailoa never sees meaningful action for Falcons, they now have a solid quarterback as backup for Michael Penix Jr. Smart move
Kansas City Chiefs Sign RB Kenneth Walker III
In 2025, the Chiefs were the worst team in the league at making big runs. It’s surprising to say that about an Andy Raid offense, but it’s true. The Super Bowl MVP with Seattle adds the speed and vision Kansas City’s backfield has lacked for years. And with Mahomes returning from his torn ACL, having a real ground threat changes everything for how defenses prepare for this team.
