Cameron Norrie ended a six-match losing streak on Tuesday with a straight-sets victory over Aleksandar Kovacevic at the Mifel Open in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The British No. 2 was in fine form to beat the American 6-4, 6-1 in the first round, recording his first match win since April.
It was a welcome boost for Norrie following a torrid run where he has struggled to produce the goods consistently on the ATP Tour.
Per BBC, The 30-year-old had not tasted victory since his run at the Madrid Open in April, his poor run including a first-round defeat by qualifier Michael Zheng at Wimbledon.
His current result is a major turnaround as he attempts to regain momentum during the hard-court swing. Norrie was on top from the outset against Kovacevic, winning the first set 6-4 and then raising his game in the second.
He crushed his opponent’s resistance with a commanding 6-1 victory to seal his place in the following round.
It is a particularly encouraging result for Norrie at a tournament where he has had success in the past.
He earned his first ATP championship in the Los Cabos event in 2021, defeating Brandon Nakashima in the final.
Norrie will now attempt to carry that increased confidence into the following round as he aims to make a deeper run in Mexico and put his recent problems completely behind him.
