Bournemouth are four from four in the Europa League, and Marco Rose’s bench is the reason. Three substitutes, Tyler Adams, Evanilson and Rayan, all scored as the Cherries came from behind against 10-man Sparta Prague on their European debut campaign.
It didn’t start well for the visitors. Rose made eight changes from the weekend win over Leeds United, and Bournemouth struggled early in Prague. Jonatan Braut Brunes missed a great chance in the opening moments, then Lewis Cook hit the post with a penalty after a handball by former Liverpool and Wolves defender Ki-Jana Hoever.
Sparta made them pay in the 35th minute. Ebrima Singhateh used a clever trick to beat Adam Smith and Cook in one movement, then finished brilliantly. Their joy lasted two minutes. Defender Tobias Guddal was sent off for a second bookable offence, for pulling down Álvaro Rodríguez, and the hosts lost their momentum, BBC reported.

Rose responded at the break by bringing on some of his regulars, with Adams the first substitute. His energy lifted Bournemouth straight away. Twelve minutes after the restart he finished well after Amine Adli had started a move by pouncing on a mistake in the Czech side’s defence, and it was 1-1.
Rose kept changing it. Evanilson, Adrien Truffert, Marcus Tavernier and Rayan all came off the bench, and the Cherries pinned Sparta in, looking for the winner but squandering chances. The goals came late. With nine minutes left, Evanilson put them ahead with a superb finish from inside the area, and Rayan added a third with an effort from just outside the box. It’s now seven wins in a row in all competitions.
Man City Beat Bournemouth 2-1 in Maresca’s Debut
Yankee Scores reported in August that Manchester City made a winning start with late goals from Marc Guehi and Josko Gvardiol, and snatched a dramatic 2-1 victory against Bournemouth on Sunday in Enzo Maresca’s first Premier League game as the Spaniard’s replacement.
