The Miami Dolphins have confirmed the signing of offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer from the Los Angeles Chargers, YankeeScores reports.

We understand that the Dolphins completed the move on Friday morning, bringing in the former Los Angeles Chargers guard after the expiration of his previous deal.

However, the franchise did not disclose the financial details or length of the agreement.

Salyer arrives in Miami after spending the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Chargers.

The 27-year-old appeared in 64 games during that span and made 40 starts, showcasing his versatility across the offensive line.

Out of those 40 starts, Salyer featured 19 times at left tackle and 21 times at right guard, proving capable of operating in multiple roles when called upon.

He also started three postseason games during his time in Los Angeles, gaining valuable playoff experience.

The offensive lineman originally entered the league as a sixth-round selection (195th overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft after being picked by the Chargers.

Before making the jump to the professional level, Salyer enjoyed a successful college career with the Georgia Bulldogs football between 2018 and 2021.

During his four seasons with the Bulldogs, he appeared in 47 games and made 23 starts. Most of those came at left tackle, although he also spent time at both left guard and right tackle.

Salyer was also part of Georgia’s historic squad that captured the national title during the 2021 College Football Playoff National Championship season.

It remains unclear exactly how Salyer will fit into Miami’s plans heading into the new campaign. The Dolphins currently have four returning starters along the offensive line, while four members of their 2025 unit are yet to sign contracts for the 2026 season.

His versatility, however, could make him a valuable depth option as the Dolphins continue shaping their roster for the upcoming campaign.
