Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson will not face a felony charge after he was arrested on a domestic violence charge in June, Yankee Scores reports.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to ESPN.
The case against Jackson was referred to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
Last week, Ivor Pine, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, told multiple media outlets that the case has been assigned for a diversion prior to filing that is available to eligible individuals and is an alternative to misdemeanor criminal prosecution.
Jackson could face further discipline from the NFL for a violation of the league’s personal conduct policy.
Jackson was arrested June 8 on what police told ESPN was a charge of “a person who willfully inflicts corporal injury” of a spouse.
Jackson was sued last year by a woman who claimed he secretly taped her having sex and refused to delete the video despite her protests and taunted her with it repeatedly.
The woman reported the incident to the NFL, the lawsuit said.
Filed last November in Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit was transferred to federal court and dismissed April 10.
Jackson was suspended two games in August 2024 for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
Jackson agreed to a three-year, $57 million contract extension with the Rams in February 2025.
