Lionel Messi joined Inter Miami training camp today after almost ten days of vacation in his native Argentina, Yankee Scores reports.
The club released this Wednesday some videos and pictures of the arrival of Messi at the training sessions of his team at the facilities of the club in Fort Lauderdale, the city located north of Miami.

The forward had not trained with Inter Miami since the previous month of May when the suspension of the Major League Soccer (MLS) started for the World Cup, so he joined the training sessions of Argentina.

After losing in the final to Spain (1-0) on July 19th, the Argentinians traveled back to their native country alone from the rest of their teammates because they wanted to take a few days’ vacation.
Both missed their team’s last two games which finished with wins against the Chicago Fire (3-2) and CF Montreal (0-1). The two could make some minutes on this Saturday in the match against the Columbus Crew, or in the first matchday of the Leagues Cup on August 5 against Mexico’s Atlético de San Luis.
It must be pointed out that both Messi and De Paul were called for playing in the “All-Star 2026”, a game where the best players of the MLS and LigaMX confront each other and will take place in this Wednesday in Charlotte (North Carolina). But both were excused because of resting after the World Cup, per Marca.
It should be noted that the FIFPRO, the international union of professional footballers, demands 21 days of vacation after each season for footballers, although it is unknown if the MLS was already working before the national team competition.
