The series is tied! Victor Wembanyama just put together a signature postseason masterpiece, dropping 33 points to lead the Spurs to a dominant 103-82 Game 4 victory over the Thunder, Yankee Scores reports…

Victor Wembanyama was the hero as San Antonio Spurs thumped Oklahoma City 103-82 to level the Western Conference Finals at 2-2.

The Responses of Wemby

Victor Wembanyama recorded 33 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks to hold OKC Thunder to its second-lowest postseason total.

This was a must-win for the Spurs with Game 5 on the road, and they came out hot to start with an emphasis on Victor Wembanyama.

The No. 1 overall pick scored a quick 3-pointer before scoring two alley-oop dunks against a Thunder team that held him down in the previous two games. Finally, he ended the first half in total Spurs control with a half-court 3-pointer as time expired.

Thunder Did Not Show Up

The Thunder were given a chance to cut the 47-38 lead heading into halftime. However, Cason Wallace missed a 3, the Spurs came up with the board and immediately gave the ball to their best player.

Victor Wembanyama showed that trust with a half-court 3 as time expired at the end of the first half.

The Spurs had a big boost going into the halftime break. Not only were they leading, but the Thunder could only score 38 points by halftime.

After a quick 7-0 Spurs run to start the second half, the Thunder never recovered from the deficit.

“It was the same,” said Wembanyama to NBC postgame when asked what felt different in Sunday’s game compared to Game 2 and Game 3. “We just had to figure out the answers for ourselves.”

SGA’s Postseason Nightmare

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is having his roughest playoff night yet with 19 points, seven assists, four rebounds and four turnovers. He shot 6-for-15 (40%) and had the worst rating out of the Thunder’s starting lineup at -18.

The fifth game will take place Tuesday at 8:30 PM ET (NBC, Peacock).
