Atlanta Falcons cornerback AJ Terrell is facing heartbreaking news off the field. The 27‑year‑old star has lost his aunt in a horrific accident, leaving the NFL community rallying around him during this difficult time. Yankee Scores reports.
The Tragic Accident
Local reports confirmed this week that AJ Terrell’s aunt, 49‑year‑old Giselle Perry, died after another driver plowed into her car in a Georgia supermarket parking lot.
The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon around, 3:20pm, sending vehicles onto the sidewalk and injuring a pedestrian. Perry’s husband revealed she had been waiting outside the store after dropping off her mother when the collision happened.

Terrell’s Emotional Tribute
AJ Terrell shared his grief on Instagram, writing: “I’m torn, Aunty. Heart is heavy, I love you.” His words captured the pain of losing a loved one so suddenly. Perry’s husband described her as “loving” and “caring,” noting they were preparing to celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary in June.
