Declan Rice, Marc Guehi and Reece James handed England a triple injury boost ahead of their World Cup quarter-final against Norway, Yankee Scores reports.
Rice had been fighting illness since Monday’s last-16 win in Mexico and had been segregated from team-mates, while Guehi missed England’s training session in Kansas City on Thursday after concerns emerged over a hamstring issue.
However, both players trained in Miami on Friday ahead of Saturday’s meeting with Norway in the city.
James also took part in the session, his first appearance since suffering a hamstring injury in England’s second group stage match against Ghana. However, Thomas Tuchel stated that all three were available for selection on Saturday, per Skysports.
The only member of the 26-man squad to sit out training was Jordan Henderson, who broke his wrist and arm celebrating that victory against Mexico. The above-mentioned Quansah will also miss the meeting with Norway after receiving a two-match suspension following his red card in the previous game.
“We had everyone available in training. That’s the best news,” Tuchel said in his pre-match press conference.
“We have the full choice except for our suspended player [Jarell Quansah].”
Sir David Beckham paid a visit to the England squad who were training at the club he owns, Inter Miami.
