Liverpool are ready to make an opening bid for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola as the Premier League club step up their pursuit of attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season.
The club is likely to table a formal offer soon for the 23-year-old France international, who has become the Reds’ No 1 target for new manager Andoni Iraola

Barcola is said to have turned down the chance to re-sign at PSG and is said to be open to a move to Anfield. He has two years left on his contract which might give Liverpool leverage.
According to BBC, PSG apparently value the winger at approximately £145 million, with Liverpool said to be unwilling to match that price.
Other reports claim the Merseyside club may instead seek a deal closer to £100 million, possibly with performance-related add-ons included.
Liverpool’s interest has consequently grown with the club now set to test the French champions’ resolve with an initial approach.
