Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva has joined Real Madrid for a two-year deal.

Silva,31, left Manchester City at the end of the last season after spending there nine years with numerous trophies to link up with Jose Mourinho.
Silva had preferred Spanish La Liga with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid interested in his signature.

He becomes the second acquisition of Real this summer as a free agent. His signing comes on the heels of defender Marc Cucurella’s £52m move from Chelsea.
