It’s safe to say that scouts throughout Europe took notice of the 18-year-old, who lit up the tournament with the kind of poise and game intelligence that typically takes years to develop.

Lille know they’ve got a special one on their hands and they’re pricing him accordingly. According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, the French club are holding out for around €100m, a figure that has already put off a few admirers but doesn’t seem to bother City in the slightest.
