The Minnesota Timberwolves grabbed a 10-point win against the Golden State Warriors last night, YankeeScores reports.

Anthony Edwards was the star of the night, as he helped the Timberwolves snap a three-game winless streak.

The first quarter started out balanced, as both sides scored points, before the Warriors had a [6-0] run, with Anthony Edwards then dropping seven on the bounce.

The first quarter ended with the Warriors already trailing [28-31], with Anthony Edwards dropping nine points.

In the second quarter, it was a much wider gap, as the Timberwolves increased their advantage [48-69], with an 18-point gap already.

By the end of the third quarter, the Timberwolves were already leading [87-100], although the Warriors tried to fight back, with a 10 point run, while also winning the quarter by eight points.

In the final quarter, the Timberwolves wrapped up the points, even though the warriors won the quarter [30-27].

Anthony Edwards scored the most points (42 points), shooting 13 for 22.

He made all 12 of his free throws and also had eight rebounds and five assists.

Brandin Podziemski scored 25 points for the Warriors, the second most points in the game, while Kristaps Porzingis had 20 points even though he only made the starting lineup because the Warriors lost Draymond Green to injury less than an hour before tipoff because of a lower back injury.

It was Porzingis’ first start since being acquired by Golden State at the trade deadline from Atlanta. He finished with 20 points.

Rudy Gobert also contributed 18 points and nine rebounds.

The Golden State Warriors lost Al Horford for the night in the first quarter because of right calf tightness, then Seth Curry exited in the second half with tightness in his left inner thigh.

Stephen Curry missed his 16th straight game and will be out until at least next weekend.

It also marked the seventh time this season Golden State was without the trio of Jimmy Butler (ACL surgery), Steph Curry and Draymond Green.

This was the Warriors’ fourth straight, fourth loss at home, and sixth in seven.

Warriors is a visit to the New York Knicks on Sunday to begin a six-game road trip, while the Timberwolves face Oklahoma City on Sunday to conclude a four-game road stretch.
