RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande has reached a verbal agreement on personal terms with Real Madrid after Paris St-Germain pulled out of the transfer race, Yankee Scores reports.
The 19-year-old Ivory Coast international was previously being pursued by Liverpool after an initial bid of £69m was rejected in June, as well as PSG.
Liverpool moved onto other targets while PSG have decided against engaging in a bidding war with Madrid for the youngster’s signature.
According to sources, PSG made a final bid of £102.5m for the youngster on Sunday which was rejected.

Meanwhile, Madrid have reached a verbal agreement on personal terms, which have been based on that of English midfielder Jude Bellingham, meaning that they are performance based and improve annually.
They will pay in excess of £100m for the player who moved to Leipzig from Spanish club Leganes last summer on a five-year deal.
Those close to Real have said that Jose Angel and Juni Calafat, the two main negotiators, have been following Diomande for almost five years now but not reacting to the player’s recent performances at the World Cup.
