The Atlanta Braves are looking good at 2-1 in their series against the New York Mets after a back-and-forth game at Truist Park saw the Mets escape with a 10-9 win in the third meeting, Yankee Scores reports.
Braves Score Quick Win
Atlanta quickly showed their mettle, taking a 3-1 lead in the first inning. Drake Baldwin provided the offensive spark at the plate, going 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs, per ESPN
Michael Harris II added a 2-for-5 night with three RBIs of his own. Austin Riley and Mauricio Dubón also chipped in offensively with five hits between them.

Mets Strike Back With 4-Run Second
The script flipped in the second inning when New York scored four unanswered runs to take the lead. Bo Bichette (3-for-5, three RBIs) ignited the Mets and Juan Soto had two hits and two RBIs.
A.J. Ewing and Tyrone Taylor made home runs to add to New York’s total, and Francisco Lindor scored three times on the night.
Ninth-inning fireworks seal it
The middle innings were uneventful but the game burst to life again in the ninth as Atlanta scored six runs in a late rally only for New York to come back with five of its own to clinch the win.
Nolan McLean sealed the win, pitching six strong innings with five strikeouts. Martín Pérez took the loss, going 4 1/3 innings.
Outlook for the Series
Despite the setback, Atlanta is still in control of the series 2-1, after winning the first two games, 5-3 and 14-3, respectively.
The teams return to Truist Park for the fourth and final game of the series, with the Braves trying to end it and the Mets hoping to split it before both teams head out on their next road trips.
