The Miami Marlins will kick off a three-game series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday with both National League East rivals looking to get off to a good start in the series.
Per ESPN, Miami comes in with a 52-54 record and 31-23 at home, but the Marlins are in a tough spot after losing a franchise-record 12 games in a row.

The Phillies are 57-49 and second in the NL East. Philadelphia is coming off a nice 11-4 win over the New York Yankees where Bryson Stott and Alec Bohm combined for nine RBIs.
The Phillies have been solid at the plate this season, too, going 31-10 in games where they hit at least two homers.
Miami’s offense has been one of the few bright spots, even with the team’s troubles lately.
The Marlins are hitting .250 as a club, which is good for sixth in MLB, and they’ll need that to compete against a Phillies squad with plenty of momentum.
Philadelphia’s Zack Wheeler is scheduled to start the series opener Monday against Miami’s Tyler Phillips.
The Marlins can try to break their losing streak in the three-game series, while the Phillies will try to continue to pull away in the division race.
