Tottenham Hotspur are preparing an £85million bid for Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi, Yankee Scores reports.

But the Cherries are adamant the 20-year-old is not up for sale this summer.
Kroupi, who netted 13 times in 33 Premier League outings last season, has also been linked with Arsenal.

Now it is Spurs who are preparing an opening bid for the France Under-21 international.

And talkSPORT chief football correspondent Alex Crook says Roberto De Zerbi’s side are ready to test Bournemouth’s resolve.

Speaking on The Window, he said: “He has lots of potential suitors, Arsenal amongst them.

The £85M Statement

“Tottenham are preparing a potential £85million bid for Junior Kroupi to try and test Bournemouth’s resolve that he is not for sale this summer.

“That’s the message coming out of the Vitality, that both him and Alex Scott will stay.

“We know Bournemouth are in contract negotiations with Scott having received an enquiry from Arsenal, but Tottenham and Kroupi seems to be bubbling under.

“And this will be Tottenham continuing a massive summer of spending having already paid £85million for (Mateus) Fernandes, £100million for (Sandro) Tonali, £50million for Jan Paul van Hecke at Brighton.

“And they’ve signed Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi on free transfers as well.

“So it’s basically going to be a whole new team for Roberto De Zerbi next season and no surprise they’re interested in Kroupi.

“They want another forward player. That would probably see Richarlison depart. As I say, the message coming out of the south coast is that Kroupi is not for sale this summer.”

The Teen Record-Breaker

Kroupi joined Bournemouth on a five-and-a-half-year deal in February 2025.

He was nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year in an impressive debut season at the club.

Meanwhile the Cherries finished sixth in the Premier League to qualify for the Europa League for the first time in their history.
