The All-NBA teams are officially OUT! Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Victor Wembanyama headlined the All-NBA teams that were unveiled on Sunday ahead of Game 4 of the Western Conference finals between the two teams, Yankee Scores reports…
Other members of the first team include Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets, Luka Dončić of the Los Angeles Lakers, and Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons – who ranked next in the MVP voting.
The First Team Titans
For Wembanyama, this is his first All-NBA inclusion; for Gilgeous-Alexander, he is now on his fourth consecutive appearance in the first All-NBA squad. In Game 4, the Spurs won 103-82, even with the Thunder at 2-2.

Jokic is making his sixth first team selection (eight All-NBA selections in total); Wembanyama is the first Spur player since Kawhi Leonard in the 2016-17 season to make the All-NBA first team. Meanwhile, Luka Dončić is making his sixth All-NBA appearance in the past eight years, after being crowned scoring champion (33.5 points per game).
As the first and second-ranked players in the MVP race, respectively, both Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokic are unanimous selections while Wembanyama was just one away from becoming an unanimous member too. Jokic, as such, doubles the number of All-NBA selections for any other player in Denver Nuggets franchise history.
The Second Team Contenders
The All-NBA Second Team consists of Jaylen Brown of the Boston Celtics, Jalen Brunson of the New York Knicks, Kevin Durant of the Houston Rockets, Donovan Mitchell of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Brunson made it for the third time in his career as his Knick squad leads the Eastern Conference finals 3-0 over Cleveland Cavaliers. Mitchell has also been named All-NBA three times.
Durant and Leonard Rewrite the Record Books
Kevin Durant made his 12th All-NBA selection (six first teams and six second teams), becoming the first NBA player ever to be All-NBA with five franchises. Jaylen Brown is named to the second All-NBA team for the second time in his career.
Leonard will become only the third player to have seven All-NBA selections when he becomes a six-time honoree (third and third).
